About the film and event:  The environmental damage occasioned by war and preparation for war is routinely underestimated, underreported, even ignored. Scarred Lands & Wounded Lives depicts the unprecedented scale of environmental damage over the last half century. We discover that the environment remains war’s “silent casualty.” For more information on the film, visit scarredlandsfilm.org

In April, Scarred Lands, Wounded Lives was awarded the top prize in its category at the 44th Annual WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival in Houston, Texas.  The narrator of the film, Robert K. Musil is the former CEO of Physicians for Social Responsibility and former Executive Director of the SANE Education Fund (later SANE/Freeze and Peace Action!) and he will also join the the Days for a discussion session after the showing of the film.

  1. Bobby Dias says:

YOU believe in Obama’s drawdown. I say he lied-many times. Democrats in the United States must have many things going badly to get enough votes to make their fortunes- Obama put $19,000,000 in his bank accounts in funds leftover from his election campaign. This week Obama has started more “false enemies” to make you believe that he is nneded.
