Weapons Pushers vs. AARP – whose side are you on?

We’ll have more on this soon, but a New York Times article from Saturday makes very clear the Pentagon, its defenders in Congress and the merchants of death (Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Raytheon, Northrop Grumman and their ilk) seek to spare the Pentagon from $20 billion in budget cuts under sequestration, and that the money should instead be cut from education, Social Security and Medicare.

Needless to say, lots of people and organizations will oppose such misguided priorities. The American Association of Retired People (AARP) is first out of the starting gate with a radio ad campaign opposing cuts to seniors’ programs. More soon from the peace and justice and human needs forces, as this struggle is just beginning.

Greetings! My Book “Flowers…with Facebook Friends from around the World” offers a main message and theme: Nations around the World! do want to connect in a Peaceful way. There is a “Unity in Flowers”. We can all communicate in the Language (medium) of Flowers, just like we do in Music and in Art. I have several former USA President Library and Museum sites, China, Japan, most of the European Union, Asia sites, Canada, USA sites, Great Britain, Kosovo, Belfast, etc. on board. A “Unity if Flowers” is a good way to share, for one moment, a calm, peaceful way to connect. A Unity that is needed every so often in some way.
My Book is on my eStore http://www.createspace.com/4408086 for easy ordering and seeing some information on the Book.

    Enjoy!
    Have a Great Flower Day!
