Aid in action: responding to crisis in Darfur

While much of the world’s attention is focused elsewhere, there are still 2.5 million displaced people in Darfur who are struggling to survive. Oxfam gives us another powerful example of the importance and effectiveness of aid in this video highlighting their work to partner with the people of Darfur to bring clean water, cooking stoves, and agricultural support.

  1. I used to work with Oxfam when they first brought the Oxfam canvass state side to LA in the spring of 2010. Even though the damage seems down right impossible to solve the progress by the ever so effective grass roots efforts made real improvements in such a sort time. It really is refreshing for me to see that the organizations that I used to work with on the side walk are working to help each other on the field.
